 American National Standards Institute — ANSI provides for the approval and administration of national safety standards in a variety of industries. Publications include the ASC 01.1 standard of woodworking machinery, for which WMMA® acts as Secretariat. |
 American Tort Reform Association — ATRA is dedicated to reform of the product liability laws at the state level. WMMA® is a dues-paying member. |

| Product Liability Prevention and Defense Group (PLP&D) — PLP&D is a consortium of manufacturing associations which brings machinery manufacturers together to share ideas and experiences on how their companies prevent and defend against product liability suits. Resources include the PLP&D handbooks, legislative updates, expert witness/attorney reference materials, and semi-annual networking workshops which bring members together to address issues of concern for all manufacturers. WMMA® was a founding member but now offers promotional support. |
