Management of Safety Standard
WMMA is the Secretariat for the American National Standards Institute O1.1 Committee. The ANSI Committee, comprised of experts from the producer, end user and general interest areas, serves as the umbrella under which the standard is developed for the safety requirements for the design, installation, care and use of woodworking machinery and accessory equipment, used in industrial and commercial application, having a total connected power of 5 hp (3.7 kw) or greater, or having 3-phase wiring.WMMA also distributes the ANSI O1.1 2004 Standard and the WMMA Checklist for ANSI O1.1 Compliance.
Safety Manual
The Guideline for Development of User Manuals for Woodworking Machines was developed in the early 2000s. WMMA's website offers today access to 3 downloadable documents from this effort.Workshop/Webinar Library
